How to Calculate How Many Days Are Left in 2026
You can determine how many days remain in a year using several methods. The quickest option is to use an online tool, such as a days-until calculator, but you can also calculate it manually or with spreadsheet software.
Method One: Subtract the Days in Each Month
If the current date is in December
Since December has 31 days, subtract the current day of the month from 31:

First, subtract the current day from the total number of days in the current month to find the remaining days in that month. Then add the total number of days in each remaining month through December:
